A cross between Cattleya amethystoglossa, and Cattleya Claesiana 'Kingfisher'. I've used my most compact amethystoglossa (some of them can be absolutely huge), and Claesiana flamea 'Kingfisher' which is a proven parent.
The combination of spots and splash in the two parents have the potential to result in a wide variety of exciting flowers. I'm hoping for flowering on reasonably compact plants.
Seedlings established in 80mm pots.
