I'm always excited about my new seedlings. But I'm particularly excited about this one.

Since I first flowered it, I've always known that Dendrobium Brimbank Uluru 'Red Ochre' is something special. It's a really glossy, metalic dark red that the camera struggles to capture. Great texture and presence. It got a lot of attention at the QOS Spring show in 2025, where it won Champion Native.

I've tried a number of crosses with it, but this is the first one to produce mature seedpods. 

Dendrobium speciosum var. grandiflorum 'Mt Larcom Gold' is a well known plant, with big flowers and a deep yellow-gold colour. This cross should add vigour, higher flower count, and produce red and yellow flowers.

Seedlings are established in 80mm pots.
