Dendrobium Esme Poulton is a fantastic plant. A primary hybrid between Den. bigibbum and Den. kingianum. Great shape, great colour, and flowers that last quite a long time. I've wanted to use it as a breeding parent since the first time I saw one - and I've tried, unsuccessfully, over and over.
This one worked. I used pollen from one of my other favourite Hot-Cold hybrids, Dendrobium Classy, which has big showy pink and white flowers.
I think this combination has the potential to be really special. It's got it all - shape, colour, size...
Seedlings are established in 80mm pots.
