A new mini Cattleya cross from our breeding program. Cattleya Elusive Heartbeat 'Zelda' is one of my favourites. compact, vigorous grower, with heaps of beautifully shaped rich colourful flowers. Makes a great specimen, and flowers multiple times a year.
Here I've crossed it with Ctt. Secret Love - another compact grower, with nice solid pink flower with a white throat, and very flat petals, with the aim of counteracting Elusive Heartbeat's slight tendency towards recurved petals.
These seedlings are growing really vigorously, and are established in 80mm pots.
