New release from our breeding program, Ctt. Night Sky 'Shepherd's Warning' x Rth. Maree's Russet. I'm quite excited about this one. I've got quite a few plants of Ctt. Night Sky, all but one of them are in various shades of purple. Great plants with a high flower count. This particular plant is the odd one out - with a cluster of well-arranged flowers in a coppery red tone, with a slightly metalic shimmer, and a striking burgundy red lip. We called it 'Shepherd's Warning'.
Rth. Maree's Russet is another cluster Cattleya hybrid - it's parentage is (Rth. Love Sound x Rlc. Sebastian Scalia), and has a good shape, with a coppery russet colour and a big ruffled dark crimson lip, heavily influenced by Rlc. Sebastian Scalia.
I'm anticipating this cross will produce cluster type Cattleyas, in a variety of coppery tones, with prominent red labellums.
Seedlings for sale are established in 80mm pots.
