Dendrobium speciosum var. pedunculatum 'Marie' x 'Tyabb Best' HCC/AOC

Regular price $15.00 Sale

At last! I've been wanting to bring a var. pedunculatum to the market for a very long time, but I've had years where none of my pedunculatums flowered, years when only only one flowered, and years where a few flowered, but my pollination attempts failed.

But here we go. A cross between two great plants - 'Marie', a really stunning plant that I bought a division of from Brian Gerhard many years ago, and 'Tyabb Best' HCC/AOC.

Pedunculatums are slow growing plants, and come from a narrow band of low hills down the western side of the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland. They're short and stocky and quite compact compared to most other varieties of speciosum, and they have very upright flower spikes.

Seedlings are well established in 80mm pots.
